of the 2011 Ladies Club Challenge between teams from
the St. Marys Golf Club and The Bavarian Hill Golf Club took place on
September 10th at the St. Marys Golf Club. This match resulted in a tie
with both teams scoring 12 points.

format was a 2-person best ball for the front 9 and a 2-person scramble on
the back 9.

Bryan Valentine (Low Net) & Kevin Smith
(Low Gross) from the
Men's Bavarian Hills Open held Sunday August 14th. Smith beat Josh Sykes on
the 2nd hole of a sudden death playoff for the low gross honors. Both
players tied with a 1 under par 70 after 18 holes. Valentine shot a 2
over par score of 73 to capture the low net honors in the 18 hole medal play
event that was plagued with two rain delays.

Joel green and Tom Brown are the winners of
the 1st annual Bavarian Hills Member-Member Championship. The two person
best ball event consisted of five 9-hole matches within your flight played
over Saturday and Sunday. The winners of each flight were determined by
their record
throughout those five matches. The four flight winners and a "wild card"
team then went back out on the course for a three- hole shootout.

A couples tournament was held on Thursday,
July 21st at The Bavarian Hills.
The format was a three hole Best Ball, a three hole modified alternate shot
and a three hole scramble. Twenty couples braved the scorching heat to
participate in the event. The next in the series of summer-long couples
events will be held Thursday, August 25th with a format yet to be
determined.
